XORION Ignited the Cyber Arena: RedTeam Hacker Academy Successfully Launched Chapter 1 of Its Nationwide CTF Series

RedTeam Hacker Academy, an Leading institute for cybersecurity training successfully conducted its nationwide Capture the Flag competition, XORION – Chapter 1: The Genesis, marking a powerful start to its ethical hacking and cybersecurity initiatives for 2026. The event was held on 7th February 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and was organized simultaneously across all RedTeam Hacker Academy branches in India, making it one of the most extensive cybersecurity competitions conducted by the institute.

The competition connected ethical hacking aspirants, cybersecurity learners, and tech-driven minds nationwide through a unified challenge hosted across Kochi (CUSAT & Kaloor), PerinthalmannaTrivandrum, and Calicut (MPS & Nadakkav), Kottakkal, Thrissur, Bangalore, and Chennai (Phoenix). By hosting the event nationwide, RedTeam Hacker Academy reinforced its commitment to accessible and hands-on cyber security training , empowering students with real-world exposure aligned with modern industry demands.

XORION – Chapter 1: The Genesis was designed to deliver a realistic ethical hacking experience through carefully structured CTF challenges that reflected real cyber-attack and defense scenarios. Participants were evaluated across key cybersecurity domains, including vulnerability assessment, network security, cryptography, system exploitation, and defensive security practices. Each team consisted of three members, promoting collaboration, strategic thinking, and problem-solving under time-bound conditions that closely resemble professional cybersecurity environments. A total of 47 teams participated, making the event highly competitive and technically challenging.

Hosted by RedTeam CUSAT, the competition highlighted the importance of practical learning in a structured cybersecurity course environment. Participants demonstrated strong technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and adaptability—skills essential for careers in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and security operations. Events like XORION  emphasized the value of hands-on cyber security training and industry-relevant learning pathways that prepare students for globally recognized cyber security certificates.
